Boat Living

Black & White images of Boat Living in Oosterdok, Amsterdam.  Here, there are 3 different images which show how people have adapted to water life.  One with a car onboard (left), and one with an outdoor eating area (center).  The other photo, which makes me smile the most in this series, consists of two boats next to each other: one is full of seating and the other is home to a theatre stage.  Both of these boats will float parallel to each other down the river during an evening performance (right).

Oosterdok

Oosterdok-Amsterdam, the Netherlands.  While in Amsterdam I slept on a boat docked in this harbor making for a very unique experience.  On the left is the old city, and to the right you can see crain’s building a more modern city.
