Boat Living

Black & White images of Boat Living in Oosterdok, Amsterdam.  Here, there are 3 different images which show how people have adapted to water life.  One with a car onboard (left), and one with an outdoor eating area (center).  The other photo, which makes me smile the most in this series, consists of two boats next to each other: one is full of seating and the other is home to a theatre stage.  Both of these boats will float parallel to each other down the river during an evening performance (right).

French Bakery

Sometimes I keep my favorite photographs to myself.  This image was taken in Paris, France and it always brings back so many fond memories I decided to share it with the world rather than keep it hidden on my computer.  There is nothing special about it, just a simple little bakery outlined in blue. The British Museum in London has a fantastically bold ceiling and is home to the Rosetta Stone which is a valuable key to the decipherment of hieroglyphs.

London, England.  The old vs. new always catches my eye.  These buildings are near King’s Cross Station.

Lausanne

Lausanne, Switzerland.  The International Olympic Committee has been headquartered in Lausanne since 1915.  The city is also the European Skateboarding capital.

Notre Dame Chorus

Notre Dame de Paris (which means “Our Lady of Paris”) had a wonderful singing chorus performing for the public.  I wonder if they minded me laying on the ground to get the shot?
